Our Offspring

Lloyd

Lloyd lives in Walnut Creek and is busy juggling multiple activities.  He still does some computer consulting and works with event promotions.

Mark

Mark moved into his new home in Fair Oaks, California last May and is delighted with his acquisition.  Mark spent a week in Michigan following Paul’s accident to help out and lend moral support. He has been pursuing his sky diving even more vigorously since his proximity to Lodi has enabled him to reestablish old contacts.  In Arizona he just succeeded in establishing a 300-World Freefall Record–along with 299 other people, of course.  Being selected for the team was quite a coup, and he was thrilled--making the world record was the icing on the cake.  Some other achievements this year: New Jersey State Record 128, Nevada State Record Attempts, Gold Medals in 10-way competition and 16-way competition. Pam

Pam

Pam teaches sixth grade in Antioch and is very involved with her charges.  She will complete work for her certification in the near future and looks forward to that.

Gail

Gail is a District Sales Trainer for a pharmaceutical company and has traveled to New York, Nashville, New Orleans, Chicago, and Houston for various company training, etc.  Her big news is she is engaged and plans to be married in 2003.  Her fiancee, Tom, has two teenage daughters, so they will be parenting three teenage girls.  They have enjoyed trips to Hawaii and New Orleans and camping in California.  Gail flew to Michigan for a week when Paul was in rehab and being sent home to lend her expertise.  She became engaged in September and will be spending the Christmas holidays in Spain with Monica–Tom and girls to join them the 26th.

Bev and Rick

Bev and Rick moved into a more spacious home in June in Danville and are enjoying its five bedrooms and large yard very much.  They have worked tirelessly to put their personal touches on it and certainly seem to have succeeded nicely if the oohing and aahing of their 75+ friends at their annual Christmas party was any indication.  They plan to be here until Selina and Rico are out of school.  It is a closer commute for Rick to the Silicon Valley for his clients, and he moved his office closer to their new home.

Paul

Paul moved into his new home in Oak Park, Michigan in April.  He was busy with various projects on it until the water skiing season arrived, then he was on his boat during his spare time pursuing that activity.  His accident suspended all of the above.  He is still on the road to recovery with physical therapy on a regular basis.  He returned to work at Ford early in November where he is an engineer in their research division making diesel engines meet future emissions requirements.  He is spending about ten days with us at Christmas and we are enjoying that.
